A small beginning

Several years ago, I picked up a copy of Your Money or Your Life by Joe Dominguez and Vicki Robin. It made me look at money in a new way. Unfortunately, it didn't immediately turn me into a perfectly controlled financial dynamo. Several years later, I still have money problems - not huge ones, just the same ones: more going out than in. In the end, that's where we all end up when we've got money trouble...more going out than in. And every once in a while, I leaf through the book and say to myself, "You really have to do this."

But I don't have to do it alone. So, feel free to follow along as I inexpertly bump down the path of financial freedom. I'll be following the steps of the book, which I should mention is available in any local library. There, how's that for fiscal responsibility?
